Platform Reporting Guides

Guidance for filing reports on major platforms/hosts. This is generic and kept on-site.

Before you start

  • Prepare your timeline PDF and a ZIP of key screenshots.
  • Have account identifiers ready (usernames, emails, order IDs).
  • Decide the desired action: account review, refund, content removal.

Generic report outline you can reuse

  1. Summary: one paragraph of what happened and when.
  2. Impact: amounts lost, accounts affected, ongoing risks.
  3. Evidence list: attach timeline, payments, comms, and trace log.
  4. Requested action: what you want the platform to do.
  5. Contact: your reachable email and case reference (if any).

After you submit

  • Record the confirmation/case number and response SLA, if shown.
  • Set a reminder to follow up if no response in the stated window.
  • Add any new messages to your evidence folder immediately.
