Guidance for filing reports on major platforms/hosts. This is generic and kept on-site.
Before you start
- Prepare your timeline PDF and a ZIP of key screenshots.
- Have account identifiers ready (usernames, emails, order IDs).
- Decide the desired action: account review, refund, content removal.
Generic report outline you can reuse
- Summary: one paragraph of what happened and when.
- Impact: amounts lost, accounts affected, ongoing risks.
- Evidence list: attach timeline, payments, comms, and trace log.
- Requested action: what you want the platform to do.
- Contact: your reachable email and case reference (if any).
After you submit
- Record the confirmation/case number and response SLA, if shown.
- Set a reminder to follow up if no response in the stated window.
- Add any new messages to your evidence folder immediately.
